• The mission of the Vocational Rehabilitation Council (VRC) is to help ensure that vocational  rehabilitation programs (Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation and Bureau of Services to the Blind and Visually Impaired) are consumer oriented, consumer driven, and that the programs' services and resources result in employment outcomes for Nevadans with disabilities.

• Council Meetings are held at least quarterly, alternating between Carson City and Las Vegas, usually with a teleconference link between the two communities so that members unable to travel may attend.
