Frequently Asked Questions

• I am interested in being a Council member but have a child who needs day care attention when meetings take place.  Can the Council be of assistance?   

Yes, with prior approval the Council can pay for child care services to enable the Council member to travel to and attend the meeting.   

• How does the Council accommodate those in attendance with hearing impairments?  

  If adequate notice is given to the Council, it will make efforts to provide American Sign Language interpreting and/or real-time captioning projected on a screen.
