(DENVER, COLORADO) -- The Shattuck radiation waste site in Denver is again drawing the attention of the Environmental Protection Agency. E-P-A officials believe the radioactive dirt is shifting beneath its concrete cap and may eventually allow the waste to leak into the South Platte River. They are also wondering why the waste was allowed to stay on the site in the first place, instead of being shipped out of the neighborhood.
