The state of Nevada is growing at a rate far above the national average. The need for low and very low-income housing is reflected in all geographic areas of the state, rural as well a urban. The need for low-income housing crosses all segments of society, seniors, physically disabled, large and small families, and single parent households.
The Housing Division is dedicated to providing, high quality, affordable housing to the highest number of households for the longest period of time. The Housing Division has established a system for awarding Tax Credit based on Preference Points.
It should be noted that, in the reservation or award of Tax Credits, the Division makes no warranties to any owner/sponsor, investor, lender or other that the project is, in fact, feasible or viable or in compliance with any federal or state regulation.
A complete listing of all tax credit applicants and reservations, as well as return or carried-over credit, beginning with the 1991 tax credit plan year is available for your inspection.
